Using alternative treatments to treat DCIS

Fuck Yeah! 🤩 – Blog Post 15 🌸

So my MRI experience on Tuesday was actually a relatively pleasant experience compared to the previous one. The nurse was really lovely, explained everything as she went along, checked my headphones were working properly and gave me a buzzer to hold in case I wanted to stop the scan at any point. The nurse the last time did none of those things, I had felt like livestock at a market!

I did a full on detox to minimise the effects of the gadolinium dye they pump through your veins, involving two different types of zinc from the day before until 3 days afterwards, and also lots of chlorella, spirulina, green tea, garlic and lemon afterwards along with gallons of water.

I got the call yesterday from my consultant with my measurements.

My original measurements 5 months ago were,

📏 85mmx52x62mm 📏

And now they are,

🌟 74mmx52x60mm! 🌟

So it’s gone down 1cm and 3mm 🥳🤩🥳

Considering I started my treatments less than 4 months ago, I think that’s pretty amazing 🤩

Thank you to everyone for your support!

I’ve decided to take some time off work (I discovered I had holidays I needed to take before Christmas), and go down to visit my folks in the Borders for some rest and relaxation. A few weeks in the countryside feels like heaven 🥰

I’m going to try and get my fundraiser onto all the social media platforms, I need to try and reach a wider audience, and hopefully bring some money in as I’m really struggling to pay for my treatments.

Considering starting a YouTube channel about alternative treatments too 🤔

Now I know what I’m doing is working I need to give it all I’ve got!

The last elements I’ve added were soursop tea, and Boswelia, which is an extract of frankincense, and very good for breast cancer. The next thing in my radar is Essiac tea, which a lot of people are having success with.

Also chlorine dioxide, thanks to my big brother who helped me make some during his recent visit from Finland.

I’m so incredibly grateful to my family for all their support 🙏
