Finally got a date for my surgery. It’s been a long time coming. It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but my oncologist says it’s looking like May 14th!

Still no word on the ultrasound, I’m getting really pissed off to be honest. In the past I’ve always had a date through within a fortnight of requesting one, but it’s been over a month since I asked for it and I haven’t even got a date. They said there was a 4 week waiting list, but surely they can still schedule it and give me a date?! 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been off my treatments for over four months now, which is longer than I expected to be, and I’m getting a bit nervous about my DCIS becoming invasive.

I was expecting to be not doing any treatments for maybe two months.

It’s the only way to know whether what I was doing was keeping it at bay or doing nothing. If it’s the same size after months of doing no treatments I’ll know the treatments probably had no impact, but if it’s grown after being stable for the last two years, I’ll know they were working, and that will mean it’s worth my while doing them afterwards instead of radio therapy. I don’t want to waste my time, money and energy doing it if they aren’t gonna work. The cancers that have come about since the Covid vax seem to be very aggressive and resistant to treatment. A friend who was diagnosed the same time as me passed away a couple of weeks ago. He had all the traditional treatments including immunotherapy.

They finally got back to me about whether they would biopsy my boob for mould after they remove it, and they’ve said no.

I can’t find a private hospital who will biopsy it for me either 🤷‍♀️

Hitting several walls at present.

Have escaped the city again – seems to be a common theme at the moment. Living with a married couple isn’t easy, and my yearning for the countryside is growing all the time. I’ve been trying to find someone in Moffat to swap with me but no bites as yet.

A good friend of mine may be facing losing their license in the not too distant future and might let me look after their van for a year 🤩

It has a log burner in it 🥰

Seems to be taking ages for me to win my camper van. This month’s beauty is called ‘Livia’ – if I won her, me and the dogs would Liv-ia, there and everywhere! 🎉
