So, I saw my consultant the other day, and we discussed our next move.
During my ever growing on-going research, I’ve discovered that even if I kill all the cancer cells, the lump I have may still be there.
I had been concerned that the rate of it going down had slowed, so I looked more deeply into it, and discovered that the dead cells may take a long time to break down, and that there may be scar tissue there as well, which won’t go away.
This means that another MRI is not going to tell me very much at all.
My consultant agreed that another MRI is a bad idea anyway as the gadolinium they use as a dye, is a heavy metal and our bodies can’t eliminate them, and that can go on to cause serious problems. Gadolinium gathers at the base of your brain, and I don’t know about you, but I’d rather not have a pool of toxic heavy metals anywhere near my brain!
The only way I can definitively know what’s going on is if I have a biopsy.
So he is scheduling one for 6 months time. I have 6 months to neuk this tumour with everything I have. Which means doing all my treatments and strict keto diet – with NO CAKE! 🍰
The ketogenic diet doesn’t only starve cancer, but the keytones it produces kill cancer cells.
So the countdown is on. I am hoping to get to June, which will be a year since I started my treatments, and for the cancer to be gone.
Pray for me 🙏
