Using alternative treatments to treat DCIS

Headfuck 🤯 – Blog Post 55 🌸

My ultrasound results are in, and everything looks exactly the same. Of course the acid test will come when they remove my breast and measure it properly.

To be perfectly honest, I’m more confused now than ever.

So the cells my oncologist said were ‘high grade and fast growing’ haven’t grown at all in two years. I thought that was because my treatments were keeping it at bay but having stopped them 6 months ago and no growth, I can only assume that wasn’t the case. I’ve asked my oncologist why it hasn’t grown but he has no answers.

So that means it’s likely that my treatments had no impact at all. Which leads me to question whether they are cancer cells at all. They aren’t responding to cancer treatments that other people are having significant success with, all around the world, and they aren’t growing, which is what cancer cells are known for.

So my mould theory may well be correct, but I can’t find anywhere that will test the tissue so I’m never gonna know for sure.

It’s a total headfuck 🤯

I’m going ahead with the surgery anyway, if it is mould I need to get it out, and I will be blogging about my mastectomy journey in The Leither magazine.

I’m utterly baffled. Part of me thinks DCIS is perfectly harmless and they’re just calling it cancer so they can do expensive cancer treatments.

Now I have the quandary of what to do after surgery instead of radiation.

It seems sugar is very bad for both cancer and mould, so cutting that out seems like a good place to start, which means no more cake 😭

More research is necessary so that’s my next step.

The journey continues!

My next post will be from a woodland retreat in Abby St Bathans 💗
