Using alternative treatments to treat DCIS

Keto Rocks! – Blog Post 2 🌸

I saw my consultant last week and it went really well. Following my decision not to have surgery she devided she wanted to refer me to a psychologist!

I told her to go ahead, I’ve never felt more sane in my life. My best friend is a clinical psychologist, and I’m pretty sure she would let me know if I’d flipped my lid!

I told my oncologist about my research, and about the peace I felt after deciding to treat it with alternative treatments. She wasn’t convinced, but told me should would discuss it at a team meeting, and hopefully they would agree monitor my progress with a scan every three months to see if the tumour is shrinking. She said she would call to confirm the scan.

Instead of her calling, I had a call from her secretary yesterday inviting me to an appointment with another consultant next week. She couldn’t tell me what it was about. Maybe my consultant too chicken to tell me they said no to the scan and she’s getting someone else to do her dirty work! Time will tell!

I’ve decided to go for the Ketogenic diet, one of the most popular cancer fighting diets, and so far it seriously rocks!

It’s very rich, lots of meat and fat, which I have to say I’m really enjoying, which was a big surprise as I haven’t eaten meat since my awakening. My body obviously needs it.

I love butter, and cream sauces! I’ve been tucking into free range beef, chicken and duck, with lots of cauliflower and broccoli, which are great cancer fighting vegetables, covered in butter and cream sauce. So easy to make and absolutely delicious! I sprinkle toasted nuts and sesame seeds over the top, it’s really indulgent. I’m loving dinner time!

So, when you stop eating sugar and carbs, instead of your body burning glucose for energy, it burns fat instead. It’s great for losing weight.

I’m also juicing green vegetables and doing intermittent fasting, so I eat between 12-6pm and then fast for 18 hours. The longer we can let our digestive system rest the better. It’s a very healthy way to eat.

Duck breast with buttery cauliflower and broccoli, and a creamy garlic sauce!

Because I hadn’t eaten meat for years, I initially tried a raw diet, which is also popular for beating cancer, but it was playing havoc with my ‘IBS’, (I’ve put this in inverted commas, because I feel IBS is the diagnosis doctors give when they cant figure out what’s wrong with your digestive system!)

During my research, I found that many of the cancer cures that are working well for people involve parasite cleanses. Some people believe that parasites cause many of our illnesses, including cancer, and considering the success of the parasite targeting treatments, I think there may be a lot of truth in that.

Fenbendazole is one of those treatments, and the next step is to add in more similar parasite treatments, in order to target all the different kinds of parasites, in all stages of their development. This must be done gradually or it can make you feel ill. I’ve been taking fenben for two weeks now, with no adverse reactions, so I’m ready to add the next one, Ivermectin, which has now arrived from India.

The supplements I need to take alongside these have arrived, so it’s full steam ahead!

A week’s supply of medication!

Life goes on…

Apart from my diet and taking weird powders and lots of capsules, very little has changed in my life.

When I wake I meditate, and then I do a bit of yoga and some breathwork before I walk my dogs, Baby and Twiglet. Twiglet is Baby’s baby, and looked like a Twiglet when she was born, the name stuck. She’s half chihuahua and has an opinion on just about everything’s Baby is a kokoni, which is a Greek breed, bred for guarding sheep. She’s noisy as well. My world at evolves around noisy dog walks!

Out foraging for wild garlic!

I try and do walking meditations as well. Meditation has changed my life completely, I will post more about meditation, as it’s what keeps me sane, and something I feel is incredibly important, especially with the world being what it is these days.

Then home for a brunch of eggs and avocado, or scrambled with foraged wild garlic and mushrooms. Or soup made from bone broth, which is incredibly nutritionally dense, and when you add coconut milk into the mix, and sprinkle it with roasted nuts, it’s also indulgent and delicious!

I try to fit in writing for my book in the course of the day, but mostly that’s something I do when I’m away from home, on holiday or visiting people, there just too many distractions at home and there never seems to be enough hours in the day.

Dog walks keep me in nature which is important. I take my shoes off and wiggle my toes in the grass whenever possible – grounding is so important! I have a meditation tree in the woods about fifteen minutes from my house and I go there with the dogs whenever possible. It has a low branch which makes a perfect seat!

I go to bed early to read, I’m currently reading The Power of Intention by Dr Wayne Dyer, which I can’t recommend highly enough. It’s one of those books that change your life, like A New Earth (and The Power of Now), by Eckharte Tolle,

Many Lives Many Masters, by Dr Brian Weiss,

Your Soul’s Plan, by Robert Schwartz,

Ask and it is Given, by Jerry and Esther Hicks

(amongst others).

I hope this post finds you happy and healthy.

I have to say I feel absolutely amazing. I’ve never felt healthier. Giving up sugar, carbs and processed foods is an absolute game changer. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I will post again soon!

With love,
